Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Her birthplace was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and a father that was German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment at a young age. Her audition was in 1992, and was then offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Along with taking private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell was credited as a character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the music and drama clubs at Shrine Catholic High School. The school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell graduated from the school in 2001, when she was cast in the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit in Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however cut, and her appearance only appears in the end credits. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell was as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway version of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
